Delete your account & data

You can ask DeferLabs to delete your account and the personal data associated with it at any time, for any of our apps. Here's how, and exactly what happens next.

Option A · In the app

Delete from inside the app

The quickest way, available in apps that offer accounts.

  1. Open the DeferLabs app and sign in.
  2. Open the app's account settings.
  3. Choose Delete account and confirm.

Once confirmed, your account and personal data are permanently deleted within 30 days.

Option B · By email

Ask us by email

Works for every app — even if you no longer have it installed.

  1. Email [email protected] from the address linked to your account.
  2. Use the subject Account deletion request and tell us which app it's for.
  3. We'll verify the request, confirm by email and complete the deletion within 30 days.

What we delete

  • Your account profile, email address and login credentials
  • Content you created or stored in the app
  • Your preferences, settings and linked sign-in identifiers
  • Usage and diagnostic data linked to your account

What we may keep, and for how long

  • Records we're legally required to keep (for example tax or accounting records), only for the period the law requires
  • Aggregated or anonymised statistics that can no longer identify you
  • Encrypted backups, which are overwritten on a rolling basis within 90 days

Have an active subscription? Deleting your account or uninstalling the app does not cancel it. Please cancel first in your App Store subscriptions or Google Play subscriptions.
